A five day course certificated by student assessment & written examination, giving officers education and training in human element leadership & management at management level.
This is delivered through lectures, videos and scenarios in the classroom.
The course is a requirement for those wishing to obtain a Chief Mate (Yachts) <3000gt CoC, a Master (Yachts) <500/3000gt CoC, or an Engineering Y2, Y1 or SV Chief CoC. (NOTE: Those wishing to obtain the Chief Mate CoC at the same time as their OOW CoC must undertake both the 3 day Operational course and the 5 day Management course)
(Candidates may be from either the Deck, Engineering or Interior departments)
Pre-requisites – Candidates must have previously completed the HELM O course, or hold an Officer level CoC.
Current Course Fee: £820.00 – includes lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments.
